Established in 1989 the INARE is a non - governmental, non - profit organization dedicated to the technological and economic development of sectors related to natural resources under the principles of sustainability, conservation and protection.
INARE aims to the study, development, application and dissemination of modern scientific methods whose purpose is to investigate problems and determine the proper policy towards the development and management of natural resources always in line with the environmental preservation and sustainable utilization.
The institute by its statutes is an organization designed to:
- Carry out applied research programs
- Undertake development studies
- Perform field development projects
- Organize educational and training programs
- Offer consulting services
- Produce publications on natural resources
- Launch public campaigns on resource conservation
- Inform the citizens on the principles of sustainability.
The INARE members and collaborators cover a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines and business activities. They are specialized and experienced in the fields of Ecology, Engineering, Economics, Agronomy, Forestry, Animal Health, Biology, Computing and many others. All have advanced training and / or vast practical expertise both domestically and internationally and most of them are high level cadres of the Academic or Business world .
